Gator Marketplace is a centralized hub for the purchasing and selling of goods and services in the greater Gainesville area, specifically crafted for use by University of Florida students that ensures that users don’t have to worry about shipping delays or unsafe meetups, since all transactions occur locally within Gainesville.

My design process moved intentionally from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes in Figma before development. From there, I collaborated closely during implementation, helping bring the designs to life in React and ensuring the final product stayed visually consistent and true to the original vision.

The orange and blue color palette pays homage to our alma mater, the University of Florida, while using slightly varied shades to establish a distinct brand identity. This balance creates a sense of familiarity that feels approachable to UF students, while the nuanced differences make the design memorable and uniquely its own.
